using mist, glam or glitz on ribbon

Postby AngelBear » Sat Mar 05, 2011 4:47 pm

on my layout I wanted to use brown lace but I didn't have any and I find 'painting' or spraying ribbon/lace very wasteful. Instead I put some glaze in a ziploc baggie then my lace and squished it around until I had my lace covered . You can do this with mist too. You can even have more than one color. Use a baggie for each colour, but allow your ribbon/lace to dry between. To hurry up the drying process you can use your heat gun!

great tip, (i've often used tea to die fabric and i suppose it would work for lace/ribbon too) but love using spritz and dyes too!
