Lorraine's April Challenge - Rub On Fun!

Postby Lorraine » Sun Apr 01, 2012 4:28 am

I have a bad habit of overlooking my rub ons. This Fancy Pants April kit has the cutest! They're whimsical and fun! I've used them on my cards, and also on a layout. They can be put straight onto your project, or you can put them on a piece of cardstock or patterned paper and make them a super cute embellishment, like I did on this card!

I added some bling to the rubs on this card to give them added pizzazz!

I put these ones straight onto my layout.

My challenge to you is to use some rubs on your project. Put them on a layout or card, plain or jazzed up somehow. Embellish or accent with them or use them for your title or sentiment. I am looking forward to seeing all the ways we can use rubs! Load your take on this challenge here for a chance to win a SSZ gift certificate! :D :D

I too overlook the rub-ons. This is a great challenge to dig them out and I just LOVE your examples!

Lovely examples!!! I have LOADS of rubons that are just hanging around. I've trying to use them up (or throw them out..they're so old they've lost their 'on') so I'm definately going to try this challenge!

I was in the middle of posting on this last night and our internet died and didn't come back until this morning. I certainly have plenty of rub ons that should be used. Your cards and lo are gorgeous Lorraine! :)

Lots of rub ons here! The alphas across the bottom, the "memory" rub on the right hand page and a light brown "Hugs & Cuddles" that you can't see well in the photo!

I really like using my rub ons. They add so much pop with so little effort. :)
