Lorraine's April DT Challenge - Borders

Postby Lorraine » Wed Apr 06, 2016 6:00 pm

There aren't many layouts coming out of my sb room that don't have borders, usually a mat. When taking the Layle Koncar class in Calgary, I was reminded that a border could be drawn in, or consist of a border punch or anything else you can dream up. I used a ruler and did a double line border on this layout for the kit reveal.

My challenge for you is to put a border on your layout. You can use a mat, or whatever you choose. You can use a pen, either free-hand or with a ruler. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here's mine. We had record high temperatures (over 60F degrees) on Christmas Eve Day, 2015.

Here's mine. I cut the bubble border using my Sil and then put glossy accents on them (took forever!) to make them look wet.

Lovely layouts ladies! Here's mine, I drew an arrow border around the photo. I never think to do this so it's a good reminder that you can draw in borders too.

Thanks for the fun challenge Lorraine. :)
