I came up with this fun card one day while playing around, it opens up in the usual fashion but also has a corner pocket on the front for a gift bookmark or a tag.

Here is the cutting/scoring template:

Once you cut and score your base, fold it so that it is a portrait card with the triangular pocket flap on the front. You will have to glue the bottom of your pocket down to the base of the card. Then embellish as desired.
You can use the leftover piece to make your bookmark / tag base. Clear as mud? Good luck ladies and post your completed cards in this thread for us all to enjoy!

Here is my example:

OK so you glue the flap thinger to the front of the card? And then you still open it like...from the bottom right?

I think I got it...if I didn't then I guess I call it the "modified version" of your card challenge Jen! Laughing Laughing Laughing

This would be cute to use for those little credit card style gift certificates. Cut 2 slits in opposite corners of the tag thingie to hold them.

I'm starting with this one Jen! Gorgeous card - love the pin, ribbon and flower embellishment. That paper is fabulous too.
